There is so much more to Lancaster than horses and buggies! If you’ve never ventured into Lancaster City, you need to take at least a day and visit. Lancaster is full of history (James Buchanan’s home or the Underground Railroad sites), culture (the Fulton Theatre and Gallery Row on Prince Street) as well as wonderful boutique shops full of unique items. Central Market in the heart of the City, the oldest continuously operating farmers’ market in the United States, is definitely a must-see.
